On March 8, GEO-Academy’s project partner, Spotin, participated in a specialized workshop hosted by the Master’s Program “New Forms of Education & Learning” and the EduTech Hub of the University of the Aegean in Rhodes (Greece). This event brought together educators and researchers to explore the latest advancements in education and learning technologies.
Spotin’s interactive workshop ” Digital Maps in Education” focused on the role of digital mapping and geo-narratives in fostering interdisciplinary, inquiry-based learning. Through real-world examples, we demonstrated how these tools can be used to create educational scenario by the educators as well as engage students in designing their own projects. Participants also had the opportunity to discover step-by-step methods for creating their own storymaps.
This training activity is part of GEO-Academy’s ongoing commitment to supporting educators, in getting familia with innovative geospatial tools to enhance learning activities.
